Beauty Beyond Boundaries

Miss Equality World is an international beauty pageant that highlights humanitarian issues and gender equality, particularly within the transgender community. First held in Bali in 2022, the event was founded by Gebby Vesta with a vision to promote equality, challenge discrimination, and encourage self-acceptance.

Miss Equality World has evolved into a global platform that goes beyond competition. Every element, from the selection process to quarantine and judging, is designed to foster leadership, personal growth, advocacy, and meaningful engagement with social issues.

We believe our history is written by every brave individual who takes part in this journey. The future of Miss Equality World is about strengthening global connections, supporting meaningful social initiatives, and continuing to challenge stereotypes through every voice, every action, and every step forward.

Miss Equality World was not born from a desire to create another beauty pageant. Rather, it was born from a deep belief that true beauty lies in authenticity, having the courage to live according to one's identity, and having the power to empower others.

In an era when many platforms are still debating whether transgender people are part of "female beauty", our founders took a bold step. Since its inception in 2022, Miss Equality World has been a 100% inclusive and trans-inclusive space. This decision was not a marketing strategy but rather the soul of our movement. If our goal is "Equality", then it is impossible to achieve it by excluding any group, especially transgender women, who are often at the forefront of fighting for their rights.

We understand that inclusivity requires active commitment, not just statements. Therefore, Miss Equality World has designed every aspect of the competition from registration requirements and scoring systems to quarantine facilities and post-victory support to ensure that every participant, including transgender participants, can compete and thrive safely, equally, and with full respect. We proudly declare, Miss Equality World is the first and foremost platform that has explicitly and openly welcomed transgender individuals to join the fight for equality since its inception.

Miss Equality World has evolved from a more "contest" into a global social movement. Every element, from the selection process to quarantine and judging, is designed as an intensive "leadership academy". We believe our history is written by every brave woman who participates in this journey. The future of Miss Equality World is about strengthening networks, impacting social projects, and continuing to break down stereotypes one step, one voice, and one action at a time.
